VERMONT — Dr. Joseph B. Le Matty, a former Vermont resident, died at his home in New Philadelphia one day last week. He had practiced medicine in that locality for years up to about a year ago when he was stricken with paralysis, since which time he has retired from business. A few weeks ago he suffered a second attack and on Friday of last week a third, which caused his death. He was an honorable, upright man loved by all who knew him. Funeral services were held in the Presbyterian church at Bardolph under the management of the Knight Templars, and his remains laid to rest in the Bardolph cemetery. Deceased was the father of Mrs. Claud Beal.
