Bill KellyWilliam “Bill” Joe Kelly, 76, of Industry died at 2:26 a.m. May 11, 2021, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.

He was born Oct. 16, 1944, in Industry, a son of Jim and Audrey Wheeler-Kelly. He married Sheila Brewer on Sept. 24, 1964. She survives.

Also surviving are four children, William (and Holly) Kelly, Rebecca (and Harry) Drummond, Brian (and Tori) Kelly and Justin (and Sarah) Kelly; six brothers, James Kelly and Jack (and Jill) Kelly, both of Cody, Wyo., Roger (and Nancy) Kelly, Don (and Diane) Kelly of Steeleville, Tom Kelly of DuQuoin and Gayle Kelly of Byron, Wyo.; three sisters, Mary (and Clyde) Jockisch of Rushville and Martha (and Jeff) Fouts and Margaret Kelly-Parry, both of Macomb; and 10 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Robert and Dan Kelly; and one sister in infancy.

He was a former lineman for General Telephone Electric (later Verizon) in Macomb, Vermont and Astoria areas. He served his country as a member of the U.S. Air Force from 1965-69. He was an active member of the Rushville Masonic Lodge #0009 AF and AM.

Funeral services were held Saturday at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb with Reverend A. Lee Unger officiating. Masonic services were held Friday at the funeral home. Burial was at the Littleton Cemetery in Littleton with full military rites conducted by the Macomb American Legion and Macomb VFW.
