Carroll “Joe” KlutheCarroll “Joe” KlutheCarroll “Joe” Kluthe, 76, of Macomb died at 2:06 p.m. July 11, 2007, at McDonough District Hospital.
He was born Dec. 23, 1930, in Clay County, a son of Arthur and Flora Anderson Kluthe. He married Mae Blessman in 1954. She died in 1987.
He also was preceded in death by one brother, Lowell.
Surviving are four sons, Brad and Bryan, both of Table Grove, Brett “Babe” of Ipava and Bruce of Indiana; one daughter, Brenda Vaughn of Table Grove; one brother, Merle of Vandalia; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He served in the Army during the Korean War.
Private services will be held. Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
