Carol Ann Knous, 61, of Beardstown died Monday, July 29, 2002, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.
She was born March 5, 1941, in Browning, a daughter of Frank and Goldie Edwards Dodd. She married William A. Knous on May 31, 1959, in Browning. He survives.
Also surviving are three sons, William, Marty and Robin (and Angie), all of Beardstown; one daughter, Carol Sue (and Joseph) Pennell of Jacksonville; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister.
She was a homemaker.
Private family graveside services were held at the Beardstown City Cemetery. Sager Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
