Phyllis M. Kuntz, 63, of Farmington died at 12:14 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 2000, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born Aug. 1, 1936, in Canton, a daughter of Walter and Nellie Green Whitney. She married Wayne Kuntz on Nov. 22, 1954, in Mississippi. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, David Kuntz of Canton; one daughter, Cheryl (and Scott) Webb of Hanna City; one granddaughter; one great-granddaughter; two brothers, Richard Whitney of Bryant and Jerry Johnson of St. David; and two sisters, Lucille Whitney of Canton and Lulu Belle Whitney of Galesburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
She was a self-employed caregiver for the elderly.
She was a member of The Quilting Bees.
She attended White Chapel United Methodist Church in Glasford.
Services were Tuesday at Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home with Rev. Jonna O'Dell officiating. Burial was in Lancaster Cemetery in rural Glasford.
