VIRGIL J. KRIDNER

Virgil Kridner

Virgil J. Kridner, 84, of Adair, died at 5:55 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, 1998, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.

He was born Aug. 17, 1914, in El Paso, the son of John Jr. and Barbara L. Wurmnest Krider. He married Darlene Westlake on Dec. 8, 1953, in Hernando, Miss. She survives.

Also surviving are one son, John of Goodyear, Ariz.; and Gregory Waters of Table Grove, who was raised in the family home.

He was preceded in death by one sister.

He farmed most of his adult life in Fulton County. A World War II Army veteran, he served in the European Theater. He was a member of Table Grove American Legion Post 413.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Avon Cemetery with Rev. Ron Green officiating. Cremation has been accorded. Arrangements are by Martin-Hollis Funeral Home in Bushnell.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
