Kathryn Knepp, 89, of East Peoria died at 10:53 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, 1995, at Rosewood Care Center of Peoria.
She was born Jan. 16, 1906, in Bader, a daughter of Jeff and Alvira Schisler Beam. She married Lawrence Tyler on Dec. 21, 1926, in Bartonville. She later married Raymond F. Knepp on Aug. 4, 1956, in Peoria. He died March 21, 1984. She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Dunham on Feb. 17, 1994, and seven brothers and sisters.
Surviving are one daughter, Dorothy Tyler of East Peoria; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Francis Beam of Florida; and two sisters, Nelda Conrad of the state of Oregon and Helen Hartness of Bartonville.
She worked in the installment loan department at Jefferson Bank, retiring in 1962.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Burial was in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Bartonville.
