Clarence Kleinkopf

Clarence Kleinkopf, 87, of Colchester, died at 12:40 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, 1995, at Elms Nursing Home in Macomb.

He was born Jan. 9, 1908, in Good Hope, a son of Edward and Henrietta Rhode Kleinkopf. He married Lena Bainter on June 28, 1931, in Good Hope. She died June 29, 1961. He later married Roberta Anderson Miller on Aug. 10, 1963, in Macomb. She survives.

Also surviving are one son, Don of Colchester; one stepson, Edwin Miller of Silver Spring, Md.; three daughters, Kurlene Booz of Bradenton, Fla., Pat Schisler of Vermont and Sharon Bloomfield of Colchester; three stepdaughters, Pat Neighbor of Brownsville, Texas, Mary Payne of Good Hope and Doris Kelly of Redmond, Ore.; 12 grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several step-greatgrandchildren; and one great, great-grandchild.

Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.

A member of McDonough and Warren County farm bureaus, he was a farmer. He was an FmHA board member. He was a founding member of Argyle Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Jones Mortuary with Rev. Ernest Louderman and Rev. Michael DeBlois officiating. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 this evening at the mortuary. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Macomb.

Memorials may be made to his church or to the Elms Nursing Home staff.
