101-Year-Old Mabel Kelly Dies

Mabel M. Kelly, 101, of the Clarytona Manor Nursing Home in Lewistown, formerly of Ipava, died at 6:58 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 1990, at Mason District Hospital in Havana.

She was born Dec. 7, 1888, near Ipava, the daughter of Joseph S. and Martha (Clemens) Graham. She married Frank Kelly on June 3, 1920. He died April 2, 1953.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Gordon Eugene, one great-grandson, one brother, and two sisters.

She was a member of the Ipava Presbyterian Church and of the Katherine Class Quilters of the church. She was also a member of the Willing Workers Club.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava, with Rev. Gordon E. Jones and Rev. Layton Malone officiating. Entombment was at the Ipava Mausoleum.

Memorials may be made to the Clarytona Manor Nursing Home.
