Virginia Keach Dies At Age 92

Mrs. Virginia Haney Keach, 92, of 216 Robinhood Lane, Bloomington, formerly of Vermont, died at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, July 6, 1980, at McLean County Nursing Home.

Early in life she joined the Universalist Church in Table Grove. She assisted in the merger of three Protestant congregations and retained her membership in the Community Church of Table Grove.

Born Sept. 23, 1887, near Vermont, she was a daughter of James L. and Edith Nelson Haney. She married Holmes Keach Nov. 27, 1907, in Table Grove. He died Jan. 10, 1948.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. James Brook of Bloomington, with whom she made her home; one son, Dean Keach of Wildwood; one brother, D. S. Haney of Galesburg; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.

Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Vermont Cemetery with Rev. Carl Anderson officiating.

Metzler Memorial Home Bloomington, was in charge of arrangements.
