E. B. Kolp, Astoria Resident, Dies At 76

Elmer B. Kolp, 78, a life-time Astoria area resident, died at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Culbertson Hospital in Rushville following an illness of several years.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. The Rev. Elmer Dadisman conducted the services and burial was in the Astoria cemetery.

He was born Nov. 10, 1887 at Table Grove, the son of John and Mary Behman Kolp. He married Mary Elizabeth Danner Nov. 29, 1914. She survives.

He was a member of the Astoria Church of the Brethren.

Surviving in addition to the widow are two daughters, Mrs. Mary Plank of Browning, and Miss Doris Kolp of Astoria; 3 grandchildren, and a brother Abe Kolp of Astoria. Four brothers and four sisters are deceased.
