Death of Mrs. Lena Kleinau

IPAVA — Mrs. Lena Kleinau, 92, died in her home in Bloomington following an illness of 11 years. She was born in 1862 in Germany. She married Chas. Kleinau in 1881 who passed away in 1933. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. S. P. Boozell and Mrs. H. D. Owens, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Kleinau spent some time in Ipava with her daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Owens when they lived here.

[Laura’s note: When originally published, her surname was spelled both Kleinan and Keinan in the article. After doing some research on other records, including her tombstone, I believe her surname was actually spelled Kleinau so that is how I have indicated it here.]
