Rushville Blacksmith Dies In Hospital Friday

George H. Knowles, 65, Rushville blacksmith, died Friday morning at the Culbertson hospital, Rushville, where he had been a patient following a heart attack three days ago.

Surviving are his wife, Edna, one daughter, Mrs. Clyde Ellis of Rushville; five sons, Arthur of Canton, George stationed with the air force at Chanute Field, and William, John and Eugene, all of Rushville; four sisters, Mrs. Lucy Teal of Macomb; Mrs. Lizzie Smith of Peoria; Mrs. Maggie Taylor and Mrs. Pearl Lear, both of Rushville. He is survived by 18 grandchildren.
