Miss Amanda Kidd, formerly of Astoria, passed away at the Fulton County Home near Canton at 12:00 o’clock, Tuesday night. Death was due to a nervous breakdown and complications. She had been seriously ill for a week. She was 78 years of age and had spent the past two or three winters in the county home, returning to her home in Astoria during the summer months.
Short services will be held at the grave in Astoria cemetery at 2:00 o’clock, Thursday, with Rev. E. W. Braun in charge.
