BENJAMIN L. KEERAN

B. J. Keeran Dead.

Benjamin L. Keeran was born Dec. 9, 1843 in Woodland township, Fulton Co., and departed this life at his home near Vermont, Ill., Oct. 3, 1910, aged 66 years, 9 months and 24 days.

He was united in marriage to Elizabeth Toland, Sept. 24, 1868, to this union was born 8 children: William Keeran, of near Ray, Ills., Annie Toland, of Browning, Ills., Edith Stephens, of Camden, Ills., Pearl Phillips, of Ray, Ills., and Pansy and Edward, who are still at home, Millan and Alvin having preceded their father in departure from this world.

Besides the wife and children, he leaves to mourn his loss three sisters, Mrs. Margert Plank, of Astoria, Ills., Hattie Vance, of Sheldons Grove, Ills., and Eva Dixon, of Canton, Ills.
