Mrs. G. W. Kost Dead.

Mrs. Susana Kost, wife of the late Geo. W. Kost died at the home of her son, Fred Kost in the northeast part of Astoria Monday at 10:00 o’clock a.m., after an illness covering about a week at the age of 78 years.

The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at 4 o’clock, conducted by Rev. G. W. Ros, of Vermont. Interment in the Astoria Cemetery.

Mrs. Susan Kost

Mrs. Susan L. Kost was born December 8, 1832 and departed this life Sept. 5, 1910, aged 77 years, 8 months and 27 days.

Mrs. Kost was the wife of Geo. Kost, deceased, and had resided in Astoria 45 years. She became a member of the Christian church nearly 60 years ago and lived up to that faith until her death. She is survived by one daughter and three sons.

Beautiful floral tributes were contributed by friends, also one by the Mystic Workers order of this city.

The funeral was held Tuesday at the house of her son, Fred Kost. Rev. Ross, of Vermont, officiating. Interment in the Astoria cemetery.

The following from out of town were in attendance at the funeral: Dr. and Mrs. Wm. Parker, of Mt. Sterling, Dr. C. C. Kost and wife, of Dixon, William Hipsley and mother, Frank Koontz, Table Grove, John Nelson, Cuba.
