JOHN P. KING

John King

John P. King, aged 65 years, died of brights disease at his home northeast of Vermont, Monday, March 26, at 6 p.m. Funeral services were held at the house Thursday at 11 a.m., after which interment was made in the Vermont cemetery. He leaves a wife, two sons (H. L. and W. E.), and four daughters (Mrs. J. A. Ruth of Leeseburg, Mrs. George Wherley of Astoria, Mrs. John Fordyce of Table Grove, Mrs. W. A. Lybarger of Bernadotte and Mrs. A. Vliet of Smithfield) to mourn his departure.

He had resided in Fulton county since 1875.

VERMONT — Died, at his home in the Mercer settlement three miles northeast of town, March 27th, John King, aged upwards of 65 years. Mr. King has been a resident of this township for the past ten years, was an industrious and law-abiding citizen and as such was respected. The funeral occurred from the family home the following day, Elder Ross conducting the ceremonies.
