MARALYN “EDNA” (FOUTS) JENNINGS

Maralyn (Edna) Jennings, 90, of Lewistown died at 2:05 a.m. June 30, 2014, at Prairieview Care Center.

She was born April 18, 1924, in Bryant, a daughter of Minor and Mary Ford Fouts. She married Archie Jennings. He preceded her in death on Nov. 24, 1987.

She also was preceded in death by two daughters, Jeannie Nott and Vickie Groff: one son, Archie Jennings Jr; three brothers; and three sisters.

Surviving are son-in-law, Charles Nott of Lewistown; eight granddaughters, Brenda (and Michael) Murphy of Des Plaines, Ill., Reta (and Mark) Evenson of Palatine, Rhonda (and Ron) Ganansky of Lake Geneva, Wis., Barb Nott of Peoria, Angela (and John) Kline of Lewistown, Debra (and Roy) Schultz of Rochester, Minn., Beth (and Scott) Parry of Forsyth, Mont., and Amy (and Leon Wilcoxen) Emken of Canton; 22 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

She was the former owner of Ipava Cafe. She was a welder at Seneca Shipyards during World War II.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Reverend Deryck Sonaram officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior at the memorial home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown.
