She was born April 26, 1981, in Springfield, the daughter of Cindy Jocis and Christopher Jocis.
Surviving are one daughter, Madeline Stroup of New Berlin; one son, Hudson Welker of Astoria; fiance, Jed Welker of Astoria; mother, Cindy Jocis of Divernon; grandmother, Rosemary Cline of Divernon; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She graduated from Divernon High School and received her bachelors degree from University of Illinois-Springfield.
Services were held Tuesday at Bramley Funeral Home in Divernon with Rev. Richard R. Harre officiating. Burial was in Horse Creek Cemetery in Pawnee.
Memorials may be made to Madeline and Hudson’s education fund.
