She was born Aug. 23, 1937, in Quincy, the daughter of Leonard and Irene O’Connell Mayfield. She married William J. Jackson on April 21, 1956, in Mount Sterling. He died July 25, 2004.
Surviving are one son, William Kent Jackson of Chipley, Fla.; three daughters, Kim (and Bud) Kellum of Smithfield, Kathie (and Ron) Lillie of Colchester and Karen (and David) Danner of Ipava; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She and her husband lived in Lewistown for 30 years and after retiring, moved to Bull Shoals, Mo., for 10 years. They later moved to Smithfield.
She was of Catholic Faith.
Graveside services were held Monday at Mount Sterling Catholic Cemetery. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown was in charge of arrangements.
