Reathia Jackson

Reathia Lorene "Pug" Jackson, 74, of Blandinsville, formerly of Macomb, died at 1:32 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, 2002, at Carthage Memorial Hospital in Carthage.

She was born Feb. 26, 1928, in Tower Hill, the daughter of Walter and Mina Yates Johnston. She married Everett Jackson on May 31, 1946, in Shelbyville. He survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Connie (and Del) Lankford of Vermont, and Linda (and Dave) Metcalf of Blandinsville; one son, Roger (and Sue) of Blandinsville; four grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.

She had worked in Macomb for Mariott Food Service at Western Illinois University and also for King-Sealy for eight years before retiring in 1984.

Services were held Monday at Clusgton-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Blandinsville with Rev. Dean Reeverts officiating. Burial was in Glade City Cemetery in Blandinsville.
