Jeffrey Johnson-Scott

Jeffrey David Johnson-Scott, 36, of Industry, died at 2:20 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 10, 1997, at his home.

He was born Dec. 6, 1960, in Doylestown, Pa., a son of Ralph D. and Lois J. Davis Scott. He married Rev. D. Jill Johnson on July 20, 1985, in Hopwood, Pa. She survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Carli Johnson-Scott, and one son, Drew Johnson-Scott, both at home; his parents of Bethel Park, Pa.; one brother, Matt Scott; one sister, Mrs. John (Rebecca) Robert; and grandparents, William and Florence Ward of Fowler, Ohio.

His paternal grandparents preceded him in death.

He was a computer management analyst programmer at Western Illinois University since 1986. He graduated from West Virginia University in 1984 and Bethel Park High School in 1979. He formerly worked for E-Systems in Falls Church, Va.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church and of the Macomb Police Pistol Patrol.

Services were held this morning at Macomb Wesley United Methodist Church with Rev. Mary Vick-Roth and Rev. Jerry Sawyer officiating. Cremation will be accorded after the service.

A memorial service, with burial of cremains, will be at Jumonville United Methodist Center in Hopwood, at a later date. Arrangements were by Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb.

Memorials may be made to the United Methodist churches in Blandinsville, Burnside, Easton, Hills Grove, Industry, Sciota and Vermont; Christ United Methodist Church in Bethel Park; Jumonville United Methodist Training Center in Hopwood; or the McDonough District Hospital Hospice Program, Macomb.
