Esther P. Johnson, 86, of Galesburg, died at 4 a.m. Friday, Sept. 1, 1995, at St. Mary Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 12, 1909, in Ipava, a daughter of John and Alice Vaughn Brewer. She married Earl V. Johnson on June 22, 1940, in Kahoka, Mo. He died Dec. 23, 1981. Six brothers and sisters also preceded her in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. William (Donna) White of Galesburg; and three grandchildren.
She lived in Galesburg since 1939, where she was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church and the Railroad Auxiliary Lodge 6.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel with Rev. Randy Reese officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.
