IPAVA — Mrs. Grace Holmes received word that Mrs. Essie Johnson passed away Sunday in Peoria. Mrs. Johnson was born near Ipava, Dec. 6, 1880, daughter of John and Elizabeth Knock Russell. She was married to Herschel Johnson, who died in Peoria in 1941. She is survived by a son Gordon R. Johnson of Peoria.
