LEWISTOWN — Miss Gladys Olive Jones died Wednesday at 5:15 o’clock in the Graham hospital in Canton, death resulting from peritonitis. She was taken to Canton on the 9 o’clock car Tuesday night, having taken ill a week ago. The deceased was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. L. Jones, and was born at Anthony, Kan., on Feb. 4, 1902, making her aged 18 years, 4 months and 5 days. She moved here with her parents two years ago. She graduated with the class of 1919. She was a member of the Illinois Street Christian church. For the past six months she has been employed as bookkeeper in the office of Dr. R. T. Ewan. The funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the residence. Burial will be in the Cuba cemetery.
