Virginia May Ingles, 76, of Smithfield, formerly of Table Grove, died at 11:07 a.m. Sept. 9, 2016, at Graham Hospital in Canton.
She was born Nov. 12, 1939, in Caruthersville, Mo., a daughter of Clarence and Ima J. Booker Lee. She married James Ingles on Aug. 12, 1967, in Macomb. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Teresa (and Robert) Thurman of Cuba; one son, J. Steven (and Marian) Ingles of Oquawka; two sisters, Cathy (and Jerry) Slavings and Alice Harrison; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers.
She lived in Table Grove area for many years before moving to Smithfield in 1989.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Industry Cemetery with Reverend Jim Bennet officiating. There will be no visitation. Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb is in charge of arrangements.
