IPAVA — Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Fisk’s Memorial chapel for Joseph Allan Irwin, who passed away Wednesday night at the home of his nephew, Dudley Irwin. He had been ill for some time. He was 74 years, 5 months and 20 days of age.
Mr. Irwin was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Irwin and was born April 20, 1866 in Bryant. He resided in Ipava and vicinity most of his life. He was married to Ruth Bales, who preceded him in death.
Rev. J. G. Fouts conducted the funeral service and Mrs. Fouts sang.
He is survived by one brother, U. Z. Irwin of Ipava, and several nieces and nephews. Burial in Ipava cemetery.
