He was born Oct. 25, 1968, in Rushville, the son of Dan and Nancy Bent Herrick.
Surviving are two sons, Ethan (and Addy O’Brien) Herrick of Springfield and Bryce (and Ashlee) Herrick of Augusta; one daughter, Marissa Herrick of Biggsville; father, Dan (and Kathy) Herrick of Canton; mother, Nancy Herrick of Canton; one sister, Angie McCollum of Peoria; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
He last worked as a heavy machine operator at Western Illinois Metals and D and D Enterprises of Illinois in Colchester.
A visitation was held on Monday, Jan. 8, at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. Cremation rites were accorded after the visitation.
