She was born Dec. 11, 1964, in Garden Grove, Calif., a daughter of Carter Horney and Virginia Clayton.
Surviving are her husband, Steve Hamilton; her father, Carter Horney; one sister, Yvette Seal (and Drew), all of Rushville; three stepchildren, Whitney Bollinger, Josh Hamilton (and Faith) and Jake Hamilton; and five step grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Clayton; maternal grandparents, Arnold and Ruby Clayton; and paternal grandparents, Byron and Georgia Horney.
She was a pre-school teacher, teleconferencing operator and a driver for the state funded visual impairment program. She was a member of TOPS.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Stacy Tomich officiating. Inurnment will follow in Rushville City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday.
