Noah Hilliard

Noah James Hilliard, 50, of Bushnell died at 2 a.m. Aug. 3, 2023, at his parent’s residence.

He was born April 13, 1973, in Burlington, Iowa, the son of Merville and Carol Ann Jungk Hilliard. He married Tonya Chambers on April 13, 2000. She survives.

Also surviving are his parents of Bushnell; one son, Nathaniel Hilliard of Avon; two daughters, Krysta Hilliard of Bushnell and Deanna Hilliard of Houston, Texas; one sister, Nicole Lind of Rockford; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one stepson, Brandon Shaw; and grandparents, Ed and Shirley Hilliard and Don and Mary Jungk.

He attended Bushnell Prairie City Schools and played football. He also attended Carl Sandburg College.

He was a mechanic in the National Guard. He worked as a Correctional Officer at Henry Hill Correctional Center for 22 years until 2022.

Funeral Mass was held Tuesday at Saint Bernards Catholic Church with Father Eugene Radosevich officiating. Cremation was accorded after Mass. Inurnment will be held at Ipava Cemetery with Military rites at a later date. Martin-Hollis Funeral Home in Macomb is in charge of arrangements.
