Phyllis Yvonne Hager, 93, of Beardstown died Feb. 7, 2022, at her home surrounded by family.
She was born March 19, 1928, in Wagner, S.D., the daughter of Owen H. “Cy” and Cecil Irene Fry Crisman. She married Clarence Dale Hager on April 6, 1947. He preceded her in death on Sept. 18, 1995.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Bill Hager; and one daughter, Jenny Hager.
Surviving are four children, Vicki (and Kent) Haberman and Terry (and Linda) Hager, both of Beardstown, Emily (and Kevin) Roberts of Osco and Aaron (and Amy) Hager of Champaign; 11 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
She graduated from Beardstown High School in the class of 1946. She was a member of Community of Christ Church in Beardstown and served alongside her husband in ministry. She was a member of Women’s Club and enjoyed calling Bingo at Heritage Health in Beardstown.
Private family services were held at Beardstown City Cemetery with Pastor Matthew Haberman officiating. Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown was in charge of arrangements.
