He was born June 19, 1944, in Schuyler County, a son of Charles and Ellen R. Erickson Hendricks. He married Sandra Underwood on Oct. 13, 1963. She preceded him in death on Aug. 25, 1986.
He also was preceded in death by three brothers, William T., James K. and Charles L. Hendricks.
Surviving are two daughters, Debbie Frakes and Teresa Hendricks (and fiancé Christopher Hunter), both of Rushville; one sister, Geneva (and Danny) Dugger of Beardstown; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was a farmer and then went to Bohn Aluminum in Beardstown.
He was a member of Rushville Assembly of God Church.
A private graveside service was held Tuesday at Rushville City Cemetery. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville was in charge of arrangements.
