He was born Nov. 7, 1982, in Jacksonville, a son of Gary Burke and Cindy Nelson Hannant.
Surviving are his parents; one sister, Michelle (and Patrick) Hannant Beil of Elburn; one niece and nephew, Cecilia “CeCe” and Conor Burke Beil of Elburn; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Richard and Mary Lou Hannant; and his maternal grandparents, Edwin and Marguerite Nelson.
He graduated from Rushville High School with the class of 2001 and Bradley University in 2005. He worked for Aramark as a marketing manager for the Eastern United States and later as a channel marketing manager.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Stacy Tomich officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
