Benjamin HunterBenjamin F. Hunter, 63, of Frederick died at 7:25 p.m. Sept. 28, 2015, at the home of his son in Rushville.

He was born Sept. 3, 1952, in Jacksonville. He married Mary Ann LaMaster on Oct. 21, 1972, in Beardstown. She preceded him in death on Aug. 28, 2008.

He also was preceded in death by six siblings, Brenda Mullens, Doug Phillips, Ed Recking, Debbie Shitello, Sherry Hunter and Bobby Flynn.

Surviving are two sons, Chris (and Teresa Hendricks) Hunter of Rushville and Brian Hunter of Frederick; eight siblings, Sharron Johnson of Pearl River, La., Jim Hunter, Lynn Stone and Christina Bertram, all of Jacksonville, and Diane Devening, Shellee DeSherlia, Mark Flynn and Karen Flynn, all of Jerseyville; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

He and his wife owned and operated North Side Mobile Home Park in Jacksonville for many years.

Cremation has been accorded. Inurnment will be in the Beardstown City Cemetery at a later date. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville is in charge of arrangements.
