He was born Dec. 14, 1949, in Canton, a son of Dorwin W. and Elva Berniece Loveland Hedden. He married Pamela J. Markley on Sept. 9, 1968, in Fiatt. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Christina L. (and Jeff) Mahr of Canton; his parents of Smithfield; one sister, Kathy (and Eric) St. Clair of Canton; two brothers, Ronny (and Deb) of Mackinaw and Richard (Emma Mallicoat) of Cuba; one step grandchild; and three step great-grandchildren.
He retired from Caterpillar in 1999 after 34 years.
Services were held Sunday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba with Pastor Chet Upp officiating. Burial was in Fiatt Cemetery.
