She was born Dec. 18, 1940, in Canton, a daughter of Glore and Sylvia Mildred Bartlett Bevard. She married Larry Hunter. They later divorced.
Surviving are one daughter, Heidi (and Tony) Wyman of Monmouth; two brothers, Larry Bevard of Cuba and Garry (and Beverly) Bevard of Ft. Meyers, Fla.; one sister, Marcia Bevard of Canton; and two grandchildren, one of whom she helped raise.
She was preceded in death by one brother, two sisters and Vickie Young, whom she helped raise.
She was a caregiver for Lutheran Social Services and also worked as a waitress for many years.
She was a member of Cuba American Legion Post 533 ladies auxiliary.
Services were held Tuesday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba with Reverend David Utt officiating. Burial was in Marietta Cemetery.
