Dawn D. Hunkeapillar, 24, of Ipava died at 7:16 a.m. July 24, 2012, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born April 19, 1988, in Springfield, a daughter of Bobby R. and Sueann Hunkeapillar.
Surviving are her parents of Ipava; one daughter, Deana of Ipava; three brothers, Jack D. (and Sue) Hunkeapillar of Ipava, Bobby (and Lisa) Hunkeapillar Jr. of Montrose, Iowa, and Jack Hunkeapillar Jr. of Lewistown; and three sisters, Tammy Chambers of Bernadotte, Donna (and Rick) Walters of Rushville and Willy Jo McCafferty of Bryant.
She worked at BP Gas Station in Cuba.
She was a 2006 graduate of Lewistown High School and attended Western Illinois University.
Services were held Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown.
