She was born July 8, 1930, in Quincy, one of eight children of Benjamin Franklin and Amanda Henrietta Miller Rust. She married Roy Hollenback. He preceded her in death in June 1969.
Surviving are two daughters, Donna (and Mike) Shirley of Astoria and Barbara Simpson of Beardstown; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She previously was employed as a LPN at Myers Nursing Home (now Heritage Manor East) in Beardstown and later was a private in-home caregiver. As a resident of Heritage Manor East she was a member of the Resident Council.
Services were held Friday at Sager Funeral Home in Beardstown. Burial was in Browning Cemetery.
