George H. "Cap" Hall, 68, of Ipava died at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2006, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.

He was born Feb. 14, 1938, in Arenzville, a son of George R. and Myrtle V. Stinson Hall. He married Wanda Colston on June 25, 1967, in Ipava. She survives.

Also surviving are two brothers, Ray (and Mary Jac) of Jefferson City, Mo., and Jim (and Marsha) of Olathe, Kan.

He was preceded in death by one stepsister, Ima Worley; and one stepbrother, Otis Braden.

He was an Army veteran serving from Jan. 11, 1962, to Oct. 11, 1963.

He farmed his entire life.

He was a member of Tri-State Bluegrass Association and Argyle Antique Gas Engine Club.

Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava with visitation from 10-11 a.m. John Ruppell will officiate. Burial will be in Ipava Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Table Grove Family Practice or to organizations of his family's choice.
