ORAH MAY (DILTS) HOOTMAN

Orah Hootman

Orah May Hootman, 64, of Ipava died at 12:40 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, 2005, at Graham Hospital in Canton.

She was born July 1, 1941, in Galesburg, a daughter of Jim and Mary Bowman Dilts. She married Ted W. Hootman on June 25, 1972, in Pekin. He survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Denise (and Robert) Patterson of Mason City; one stepdaughter, Tammy Stanton of Canton; two sisters, Sandy (and Robert) Neuneker of Peoria and Anita Kay Dilts; two granddaughters; two step-grandsons; and one great-grandson.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Bernadotte Park Board and a caretaker at the park. She was a hostess of the Spoon River Scenic Drive Association in Bernadotte.

There will be no formal services. A visitation was held Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava. Cremation rites were accorded following the visitation.
