Trenton Lyndle Hendricks, 75, of Carbon Cliff died Thursday, June 24, 2004, in Moline.

He was born Jan. 26, 1929, in Rushville, a son of Thomas and Venia Chute Hendricks. He married Elizabeth "Betty" Purcell on Oct. 6, 1952, in Chicago. She survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Donna (and Tom) Willaert of Geneseo; one son, Garry Hendricks of Graham, Wash.; 4 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Juannita Crenshaw of Jacksonville and Nina (and Roy) Merrill of Astoria; and three brothers, Marlin (and Inez) Hendricks of Fort Towson, Okla., Quentin Hendricks of Mount Sterling and Melvin (and Marilyn) Hendricks of Rushville.

He owned and operated Hendricks Contracting.

He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict.

Services were held Tuesday at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis. Burial was in Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline.
