She was born Jan. 19, 1907, in Schuyler County, a daughter of James A. and Edith Louella Griffith Long. She married Jesse Alfred "Fred" Henninger on June 12, 1926, in Rushville. He died Sept. 23, 1973.
She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Patsy Lynn; two sons, John and James; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Evelyn Bartlow and Melba Beck.
Surviving are two sons, Andrew (and Shirley) of Macomb and Fredric (and Sherry) of Rushville; one sister, Elva Swearingen of Rushville; 14 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Rushville and several area Bridge card clubs.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Worthington Funeral Home with Rev. Mary Arnold officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Rushville City Cemetery.
