Sandra Kay Herring, 56, of Astoria died at 1:25 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2003, at her son's home in Chillicothe.
She was born Dec. 14, 1946, in Peoria, the daughter of Carl and Audrey Churchill Ulmer. She married Cecil Herring Sr. on June 28, 1965, in Peoria. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Lisa Harmon of Peoria and Debbie (and Merle) Wiegand of Chillicothe; one son, Cecil Jr. (and Suzanne) of Chillicothe; seven grandchildren; and one brother Carl (and Sara) Ulmer of Creve Coeur.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
She was a homemaker.
Private services were held Friday at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria with Rev. Jack Thompson officiating. Burial was in Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
