Carl Ray Henderson, 71, of Mountain View, Ark., died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2002, in Lawrence, Kan.
He was born Feb. 19, 1931, in Mountain View, a son of Floyd and Della Johnson Henderson. He married Lorene Mealer. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Steve and John, both of Mountain View; three daughters, Gail Williams, Deborah Webb and Wanda Gorman, all of Mountain View; two brothers, Ernest of Mountain View, and Paul; two sisters, Bertie Trotter and Bobbie Ruth Haney, both of Mountain View; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
He worked as a logger and stave mill operator.
He was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Mountain View.
Services were held Friday at his church with Brother Don Nye and Brother Lee Clark officiating. Burial was in Levisy Flat Cemetery. Roller Crouch Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
