BARBARA EILEEN (BECKER) HILDENBRAND

Barbara Hildenbrand

Barbara Eileen Hildenbrand, 67, of Pontiac, formerly of Princeton, died at 11:10 a.m. Thursday, March 20, 1997, at her residence.

She was born Nov. 2, 1929, in Kewanee, the daughter of E.P. “Beck” and Grace Irene Meats Becker. She married Daryl M. Hildenbrand on Dec. 28, 1951, in Princeton. He survives.

Also surviving are her mother of Princeton; two sons, Charles Mark Hildenbrand of Pontiac and Joel D. Hildenbrand of Ipava; four daughters, Charlotte Moore of Platte City, Mo., Eileen Cain of Pontiac, Mrs. Don (Debra) Marshall of Joliet and Mrs. Roger D. (Jeanette) Weber of Plainfield; two brothers, Robert Daryl Becker of Princeton and Larry K. Becker of Springfield; and 16 grandchildren.

Her father and one brother preceded her in death.

She was of the Christian faith. She was a graduate of Illinois Valley Community College in Oglesby and OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was a registered medical technician at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton and at OSF St. James Hospital. She then worked at Langstaff Clinic in Fairbury and retired from Pontiac Correctional Center in August 1994.

Graveside services were held Sunday at Elm Lawn Memorial Park in Princeton. Harris-Martin-Burke Funeral Home in Pontiac was in charge of arrangements.
