Mary Frances Hartley, 74, of Galesburg, died at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, 1996, at Galesburg Cottage Hospital.
She was born Oct. 22, 1921, in Astoria, the daughter of Claire J. and Lefa Mae Annfield Moore. She married Norman Hartley on Jan. 30, 1946, in Astoria. He survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Mark Hartley of Lisle, John H. Hartley of Galesburg, and Chris K. Hartley of Independence, Ky.; one daughter, Mary Ann Ostrowski of Milwaukee; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
She was a homemaker and a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Watson Funeral Home in Galesburg with Rev. James McAteer officiating. Private family burial will be a later date.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Lung Association of Illinois, Knox County Humane Society or Community Hospices of America.
