Florine Hysel, 95, of Peoria, died at 9:37 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, 1996, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born June 13, 1900, in Vermont, a daughter of Jonas and Sarah Schisler Beck. She married Everett D. Hysel in 1919 in Keokuk, Iowa. He died April 28, 1964, in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Surviving are one son, E. Eldon of West Peoria; two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Norma Jean) Morse of Peoria, with whom she made her home, and Mrs. Clifford (Mary) Spading of Peoria; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Champ (Pauline) Wayland of Macomb.
She worked for F.W. Means Cleaners for 20 years, retiring in 1964 in the laundry department.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel, where visitation will be one hour before services. Rev. Kip Perhay will officiate. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
