CELIA C. (COFFMAN) HARRIS

Celia Harris

Celia C. Harris, 77, of Table Grove, died at 9:15 a.m. Friday, Aug. 11, 1995 at the Prairie City Nursing Center.

She was born on Jan. 18, 1918, in Carman, a daughter of Harry and Pearl Reihling Coffman. She married James W. Harris on July 20, 1941, in Independence, Mo. He survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Pam Sigler and Jasmell Harris, both of Villa Ridge, Mo., and Connie Baltzelle of LaBelle, Mo.; three grandchildren, Becky Benner, Zac Sigler, and Ellen Scott; one sister, Ruby Kobus of Bloomington; and one niece.

She attended WIU for two years and was a teacher in Table Grove for many years. She was a member of the Table Grove Community Church, Chapter C P.E.O. and Table Grove Legion Auxiliary.

Funeral services were held Monday at the Table Grove Community Church with Rev. Howard Self officiating. Burial was in the Harris Cemetery. Kost Memorial Home in Vermont was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Table Grove Community Church, the Table Grove Legion Auxiliary, or the Prairie City Nursing Center.
