Wayne “Red” G. Hughes, age 84, of Douglas, Ga., died Wednesday, May 24, 1995, at Coffee Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Table Grove, Oct. 10, 1910, a son of Harry W. and Elma Locke Hughes.
He is survived by his wife Mildred; one daughter, Sylvia (Mrs. Gene) Chambers; four grandchildren of Douglas; two sisters, Mary Wagle of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Dorothy Markley of Bushnell; and three stepsons, Robert, Larry, and Gary Snyder.
He spent most of his life in the Table Grove, Macomb, and Augusta areas.
