Everette O. Hightower, 90, of Astoria, formerly of Fairview, died at 2:30 a.m. Sunday, March 12, 1995, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital, Rushville.
He was born Jan. 29, 1905, near Anna in Union County, a sons of Thomas R. and Susan E. Lentz Hightower.
Surviving are one brother, Thomas R. of Avon; one sister, Mrs. David D. (Margaret) Griffin of Cortez, Fla.; four nephews; and two nieces.
He was a bookkeeper for several years at the Fairview Service Station and worked for the Rose Insurance Agency in Fairview, retiring in 1967.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. this afternoon at Oak-Hines Funeral Home, Fairview, with Rev. Mary Lou Edenburn officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
